Once again, the bad luck
that appears to link my two favorites
astonishes by its... dreadful symmetry.
MY TWO FAVORITES BEING:
BOSTON - and its various champions
(supported by so many Portuguese-descent fans
across the land ~ like me!!!)

(e os varios campeôes do país, claro:

MILD CONSOLATION:
the Boston Red Sox were, meanwhile,
sweeping the New York Yankees...
Alas, meanwhile again, the
BOSTON BRUINS
were playing a second round playoffs
series against the NY Islanders;
the Bruins won easily the first game
(they won two out of three)
but then they were robbed
in games 4 and 5 -
and, then, this happened:
Two - yes, that's right - TWO
EMPTY NET GOALS
You almost never see this
-ever-
in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
BYE, BRUINS...

It started extremely well for the
defending champions:

while dominating most of the play...
AND THEN - BOOM!

... much better than the last time
we played them - in 2016!
FRANCE saw this and,

fui DUAS VEZES...!?

Alemanha que nem
tinha confiança em si -
mas, com essas ofertas ai,
começeu a acreditar
que podia ganhar mesmo!

Por uma vez, os asnos Franceses
